Vibhishan Kund In Ayodhaya

Vibhishan was the younger brother of Ravana but was the great devotee of lord Rama. Vibhishan Kund is situated between Post Office, Ayodhya and Rajghat. It is believed that bathing and worshiping in this kund makes the desired outcome available.

Main Ghats are: Guptar Ghat, RajGhat, Ram Ghat, Lakshman Ghat, Janki Ghat, and Naya Ghat. Tanks - Sita Kund , Suraj Kund, Vibhisan Kund, Brahma Kund, Dantdhavan Kund, Vidya Kund. Hill-tops- Sugreev Tila, Angad Tila, Nal- Neel Tila and Kuber Tila.

Sita Kund In Ayodhaya

King Vikramaditya constructed this temple of Hanuman ji. After a period Nawab Mansoor Ali constructed a fort around the temple through Tikait Rai which is now famous as Hanuman Garhi. In this temple, the complete sanskrit-verses of Valmiki Ramayan, an epic in Sanskrit language is inscribed on white marble and portraits relating to Ram Katha are painted on the walls. There are also several Jain temples at ayodhya, as it is said to be the birth place of five tirthankaras. The treasurer of nawab faizabad, Keseri Singh built five shrines to mark the birth place of these tirthankaras, which bear the date of vikram samvat 1781, the temple adinath is near the swargdwar, while the anantanath temple stands of the gola ghat, sumantanath shrine is near the swargdwar, while the anantanath temple stands on the gola ghat, sumantnath shrine is at ramkote, Ajitnath temple near saptsagar while abhinandannath temple is near the sarai.
